Qulaan Hamata Island is not called the Egyptian Maldives for no reason.
The breathtaking view of crystal clear water shimmering with shades of turquoise and white sand makes
this place a popular destination for tourists.

From the port we sail for about 30-40 minutes to our first stop at the island. Snorkeling enthusiasts can sail to the island with a guide, admiring the beautiful reef. Others may sail to the island on a zodiac boat. The island is pristine. There are no deckchairs, mats, umbrellas or toilets. It delights with its naturalness. You can listen to seagulls flying over and watch crabs running on the sand. We will be on the island for about 30 minutes.

Then we return to the ship and go snorkeling at the reefs. The second stop is followed by lunch on board. After lunch, the program includes one more snorkeling on the reefs.

The price includes transfer from the hotel, soft drinks on the ship, lunch and snorkeling equipment.

Hamata Port :

We set sail for the Egyptian Maldives from the port of Hamata, which is located approximately 250 km south of El Quseir,
170 km south of Port Ghalib and approximately 110 km south of Marsa Alam.
Therefore, from hotels located closer to the airport, you should expect a relatively long journey to the port.
During the transfer we have one stop in Marsa Alam at a shop
to buy something to drink or snack and use the toilet.
The stop takes about 10 minutes. Always take a photocopy of your passports with you on sea trips from Marsa Alam.

If we stay in a hotel north of the city of Marsa Alam,
it is worth preparing for a longer journey and stocking up on breakfast boxes and water.
For the transfer, you can take a travel pillow on the bus or something to cover yourself with,
because if you fall asleep under the air conditioning, you may get cold.

In the port of Hamata, there are many poor Egyptian children
who approach tourists getting off the buses, asking for food and drinks. If you want to help them, it’s worth preparing for it.
