Description

During these two days you can see all the most important monuments of ancient Egypt – the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Karnak Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and many exhibits in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (including the golden mask of Tutankhamun).

Day 1

Between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., an air-conditioned bus or car will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam and go to Hurghada. In Hurghada, you switch vehicles and then make your way to cairo to begin your journey in the capital of Egypt. You arrive there around 8:00 AM. You start your tour at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square where you get to see many antique artifacts that belonged to a time long past.

Around noon, there is a buffet lunch on the trip. This meal is included in the price, but drinks throughout the tour are not.

After lunch you go to Giza. There you will have the opportunity to see the pyramids and the Sphinx.

A cruise on the Nile is available during the tour at an additional fee (€15 per person). Taking the cruise is not obligatory, but tourists who do not go wait for the rest of the group on the bus.

During the trip you also visit a perfumery and a papyrus factory. There, at the museum, and under the pyramids, people interested in buying souvenirs can do so. We do not go to the market during the trip.

We return you to the hotel in Hurghada around midnight. Your hotel stay is paid for. The price also includes a late dinner at the hotel and a packed lunch for a trip to Luxor.

Day 2

Around four in the morning the next day, a bus picks you up from your hotel and takes you to Luxor. You arrive in Luxor around 9:30 AM. You start your tour from the Karnak temple. Then you go to lunch by the Nile. The next points on the program are the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings, the alabaster workshops, and the Colossi of Memnon.

In Luxor, you can take a cruise on the Nile to Banana Island, where you will be served delicious fruit ripening in the Egyptian sun. The cruise costs an additional fee of €12 per person. Tourists who do not take the cruise wait for the rest of the group on the bus.

From Luxor you go by bus to Safaga, from where switch vehicles again and are picked up by another bus or car that takes you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam. You will be there around 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Headgear (a hat. or a cap)
• A warm sweatshirt (in winter the nights are cold, and in summer the air conditioning freezes quite a bit)
